Ray Van Straten is an award winning Classical/Jazz Pianist based in Southern California. Earning his bachelor's in commercial music, Ray started his career in New York, working as a session and live performer. He has written and performed some of Madison Avenue's most memorable ad campaigns for television and radio.

Today, Ray performs at upscale events, hotels, country clubs, and fine dining establishments. His vast repertoire includes American Standards (by Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, etc), Top 40's hits from the 60's - today, smooth jazz, colorful and calming music, R&B grooves and creative interpretations of your favorite songs. 

While he performs year round, his favorite time of year is the fall/winter season as it brings about family holidays. His moving renditions of both traditional and contemporary classics help audiences of all ages celebrate the joy of the season and create memories that will last a lifetime.
